That is until the fateful night she agrees to attend her first party, ever.
She loses her best friend while accidentally stealing another and meets a stranger, no one else can see, who sets her body aflame with desire.
Things heat up and Aimee finds herself in love with two guys at once but as bad luck would have it she also finds her life on the line.
She must choose between living and loving for the first time.
The questions she must ask herself, Is it worth it to live forever if the person you love doesn't know you're alive, literally? Or is it better to die with their kiss upon your lips?

Review By The Bookworm

We meet Aimee James, the all out classical mathelete, bookworm, scientific nerd!  Wow!  Not the pretty prom queen!  Which her sister, Alise, is.  This book is not at all what you would believe it to be.  There are no vampire's, werewolves, but there are mythical creatures!  And yes, with a little editing this book would be better than Twilight.  There, I said it.  Better than Twilight!

I'm a critical person, and this is a self published book I read off of Smashwords.  I as of yet cannot find the sequel.  And I can't wait to find it.

Amiee has been in love with Shane since the second grade, but now he is her sister's boyfriend.  What can be worse that the guy you love hooking up with your pom-pom toting slut of a sister?  Sheesh.  Aimee is the victim of a date rape drug and is taken to the hospital with acute liver failure.  Only she has no clue, and I can't tell you alot because I'd ruin the book.

She meets Aleksander in the "in between" and becomes obsessed, but as her life becomes more and more complicated, she learns that she needs them both, but only in love with one.  Who is it?  Not to mention the new evil demon in her sites. Dorian.  A guy, not a girl.

Dying, Aimee must make a choice.  Die or take Dorian up on his offer.  Is it a choice she will regret?  Pick up the book and find out!
